Gamzee grows more flowers and pretty things out of his sorry hide than anyone but because he doesn’t take care of himself they all wilt and look sad. His bark and leaves peel and he has spots and holes in everything and there’s almost always a few bugs on him/eating him. He has aphids.
(I think shortly after falling from the tree the nightmare court probably kidanpped him and he was missing for a looong time?? So when he came BACK people were like “OH NO” but he doesn’t seem to have left the dream. He’s been sort of odd ever since.)
